Measurements
Know what your horse is doing all day long.
Monitor tracks 24/7 whether your horse is resting, moving, outside or out of the stable, down to the minute, and counts the eating and drinking moments. So you see not just the moment, but how the whole day went.
The day at a glance.
How many hours of rest, how much movement and how often your horse ate. With the current status above it, for example ‘In the stable · resting since 09:03’.
Why measurements matter
You learn what is normal
Every horse has its own rhythm of resting, moving and eating. Once you know that rhythm, you notice sooner when a day is different.
Changes stand out
Less rest, much more movement or fewer eating moments than usual? You see it straight away in the figures and the weekly chart.
You know when to look
Something catches your eye? One tap and you're watching live in the stable. No guessing, and no wasted trips to the yard.
A clear story
With times and durations to hand, you can have a clear conversation with your yard manager or vet, based on what really happened.
Cavalett makes behaviour and patterns visible; it does not make diagnoses.
Equisense Stable Health
Let Cavalett learn what is normal for your horse.
Health builds an individual baseline and shows changes from that normal sooner, including trends and Health reporting.
How Cavalett measures
- Rest
- Your horse is standing still or lying down. Lying down will be shown separately later.
- Moving
- Your horse is active in the stable.
- Outside (paddock)
- Your horse has walked from the stable into the adjoining paddock by itself. For yards where the horse can move freely between stable and paddock.
- Out of the stable
- Your horse is not in view, for example while being ridden or turned out.
- Eating time
- Your horse is eating hay or roughage. Cavalett counts the eating moments and the eating time, so you see how often and how long your horse has eaten.
- Drinking
- Your horse is drinking. Cavalett counts the drinking moments, so you see how often your horse has drunk.
