Trail Track
The treasure hunt for riders.
Trail Track was created by Cavalett, a kind of geocaching on horseback. Hide a tag along a bridleway, let others search for it and head out yourself. That way every tag travels across the country all year round.
Hide
Scan a tag, hide it along a public bridleway and take a photo. You may add a hint of up to 140 characters.
Search
Others see a 400-metre zone, never the exact spot. Once you're within 100 metres, you scan the tag.
Hide again
Found it? Hide the tag again somewhere else within 7 days.
The season runs from 12 September 2026 to 11 September 2027 inclusive. Taking part is free for everyone with a Cavalett account.
Points for the finder
As the hider you get 25 points per find, plus a bonus for the likes on your Hoofbeat post. The leaderboard shows who is on top each month and over the whole year.
Centers
Find a riding centre nearby.
Search for a riding centre or livery yard near you, see what they offer and book a lesson straight away.
Nearby
Search by name or discipline, or view the riding centres within your search radius, also on the map.
All about a riding centre
Facilities, services, instructors, opening hours, photos and reviews.
Book a lesson
Choose a lesson and sign up, with your own horse or without.
