Equisense Stable Health

Not just watching. Understanding what is normal.

Health builds an individual normal pattern and shows changes compared with that particular horse.

The baseline

Every horse gets a starting measurement. After that, Health keeps learning.

What is normal differs from horse to horse. That's why Health starts every horse with a starting measurement. This way Health recognises your horse's normal behaviour and sees straight away when something deviates.

  1. Starting measurement

Once the unit is up, Health measures how your horse rests, moves, eats and drinks, and at what times of day. That is the starting point.

  2. Recognising normal behaviour

The starting measurement becomes your horse's baseline. Not the average of other horses, but this horse's own rhythm.

  3. Always learning

Health learns something new every day. If the normal rhythm changes, for example with the season or more turnout, the baseline grows with it.

  4. An alert when action is needed

If behaviour clearly deviates from the baseline, you get an alert on your phone straight away. So you know when to go and have a look or call your yard manager or vet.

Illustration. Health shows deviations from your horse's own normal; it does not make a diagnosis.

Spotting deviations

Health sees what is different from normal.

Health gets to know your horse's own rhythm. How much it rests, moves, eats and drinks, and at what times of day. If a day clearly deviates from that, you get an alert.

First, Health gets to know your horse.

In the first few weeks Health builds an individual baseline. Not compared with an average horse, but with your horse's own rhythm.

  • Cavalettnu

    Baseline is ready

Health now knows Sky's normal rhythm. You'll get an alert if a day clearly deviates.

Example alerts. Health compares with your horse's own normal.

Why spotting deviations matters

  • See sooner that something is changing

A change in rest, movement or eating is often the first thing you notice. With Health you see it on the day itself.

  • Compared with your horse

What is normal for one horse is the exception for another. Health looks at your horse's own rhythm.

  • Look with purpose instead of guessing

You only get an alert when something is really different. One tap and you see live how things are.

  • Trends for the conversation

With trends and the Health report you have concrete information for your yard manager or vet.

Health makes changes in behaviour visible; it does not make diagnoses. If you have any doubts about your horse's health, contact your vet.

Health + Thermal

Add temperature as a second sensor layer.

Thermal combines behaviour with radiometric temperature information, such as temperature trends and differences between left and right.
